TV Update.
The segment aired this morning without much warning. You won't see much of my face but I'm knitting a sock on DP needles. there is a 3 or 4 second shot as they walk in the shop. Just the knitting. I recognized my hands LOL the watch, my sapphire ring ring and my Holtz & Stein rosewood double point needles. I'm the older looking guy wearing black with salt & pepper hair. There are a few shots where I'm in the background of other shots. A little disappointed that I wasn't featured but I'm happy out friend was, Congrats to Jason for getting the air time. I think the segment will really promote the shop and help it grow even more. Special thanks to Shannita and Annette at A Mano Yarn Center for inviting me to join in.

It's always fun to have the men knitting, i love it when Mr. Inky picks up the sticks!! You looked great and I wish you'd had more airtime too!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a great story. I saw some shots of you and there were quite a few of your hands (oh by the way, the H&S are beautiful needles). The yarn shop seems to foster a nice sense of community.
ReplyDeleteI'm proud of you honey. I would never be able to appear on camera like that! Maybe you were just so awesome, they're trying to get you a movie deal! :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, can't wait to see that finished sock (I'm thinking sometime this weekend?)
Hi Jerry
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you and Jason! The spinner John is in the GLASG, I think. How neat to feature the guys...
Teresa
Yay for you and men who knit! Sorry to hear that you didn't get more air time.
