Tonight was the series finale of the Gilmore Girls. 5 minutes to each sub character to attempt to close the lose ends was a gallant attempt to give closure while making us all feel that our friends in Stars Hollow will continue to exist in our hearts forever. Thank goodness for DVDs because we can relive the good times whenever we feel the need for a cup of coffee at Luke's Dinner
The second to the last shipment in the Posh Sock Club came today. She was having problems getting the quantity of yarn to do the Sock club in her special merino/cashmere blend so we were sent Emily, 4ply sock weight 80% lambswool 10% cashmere 10% angora yarn. Each skein is 100g / 365 yards. VERY SOFT and fluffy.
Nice color. I can't wait to swatch it.
The yarn is great! I love it! The Gilmore Girls play also in Croatia, I enjoy to watch this serial!
ReplyDeleteI sniffled last night, too, but not as much as I expected. The episode was a little shallow to me. The non-official town meeting was great, as was Taylor's weird childbirth speech. It was also really moving to me to hear Richard praise Lorelai. Yes, TG for DVDs.
ReplyDeleteG.G. was just too short. They should have made it a 2 hour episode to help wrap it up a little more, I think. And while this season wasn't the greatest, I am still sad to see it go. It's been a part of me for so long! I'm just happy that Luke and Lorelei ended up together. yay!

Hello Jerry, not leaving a knitting comment(as I know nothing about that world:P)but a quick thank you for coming to our party & the Ikea gift card. You guys didn't have to do that but Kevin & I completely appreciate it! We used it the next day to buy an entertainment center that was desperately needed! Tell Mrs. Knitster thanks also...
ReplyDeleteP.S. I too am going to miss Gilmore Girls... *sniff
