I saw this on Mary Lynn's blog
If you read this,
if your eyes are passing over this right now,
even if we don't speak often,
please post a comment with a memory of you and me.
It can be anything you want -- good or bad.
When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.
Jerry,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments on my blog and am glad that you posted this.
I so enjoy following your progression from knitter to spinner. You do incredible stuff and are so incredibly passionate about this art. You, actually, remind me of my mother. LOL. You are an artist and your palette is fiber!
A memory of you and me....since this is a knitting and spinning blog, the memory will be the night I was knitting a felted bag for a Christmas gift. You said "can I ask a question?" I said sure and you asked "do you think I could ever do that?" "What? Knit?", I asked. "Well, yeah, but do you think I can knit one of those bags? I want to make one for Jen." The look on your face was priceless when I said, "you sure can and I'll help you". Now I know that look on your face was the beginning of the obsession. :)
ReplyDeleteI remember meeting you at Common Threads in Encinitas and the heated discussion about whether or not it was okay for you to wear your Size 13(?) Doc Martins while spinning. I'm still of the opinion that it's okay to wear whatever you want. :)
ReplyDeleteI remember meeting you and Debbie after Thanksgiving and how nice it was to walk in Lithia Park. It was a little like a moment in Stars Hollow.
