Gottahavitittus struck today
With all this talk about going to Purl Soho to do some yarn shopping or picking up orders had me on the fence until Mrs. Twisted sent me an email about the Lobster Pot whale of a skein yarn she saw on their website. Well that's all it took for me to run over at lunch and go perusing the hanks. She was looking at the hydrangea and the lobster bisque and I could decide which one to get so I bought both.

It looks very nice!
ReplyDeleteI have one monster skein of luscious Lobster Pot! It was a pain to wind but will be awesome to knit. It's destined to become a sleeveless tunic from Knitting Nature. Great colors!
ReplyDeleteThe lobster pot yarn looks great - lovely colors. I have been thinking about purchasing some but it is alot of money to spend on something you haven't felt before (if you know what I mean)! I can't wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteI just couldn't resist - the colors are SO saturated and the yarn is just yummy. (Tess, are you copying me? We seem to be attracted to the same yarns!)
ReplyDeleteHi Vicky! It does seem like a lot of money, but if you can get a project out of it, I don't think its really all that bad - there is a LOT of yardage there - over 700 yards!
