Where are you From Wednesdays

I thought I would take one day a week and say Hi to someone who hit my blog lately and give everyone else a taste of where my readers live or at least where they read my blog from. Today’s entry is from Sun City Arizona. Sun City is a suburb of Phoenix Arizona and appears to be an active senior community. I have expressed my desire to someday live in Leisure World here in Southern Ca. We have a similar place on a smaller scale here in Seal Beach where you must be 55 years old to live. Not that I want to live with older people it’s just that it seems like I’m less tolerant to the sounds of children screaming while I try to enjoy my quiet time.
OK here is a little taste of Sun City

Weather for today is low of 73F and high of 94F currently 74F

What is Sun City?
With a population of 40,000+ Sun City is the country’s first and largest adult community designed specifically for active retirees. Sun City is one of the cleanest cities in the country and has one of the lowest crime rates.

Where is Sun City?
Sun City is conveniently located a half-hour’s drive northwest of downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It is in the Valley of
the Sun that has 312 days of sunshine each year.

This is a picture of a sunrise over Dawn Lake in Sun City.

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank You for coming by and reading my blog and feel free to leave a comment even if it’s just to say Hi!

Life is Good and I hope it’s good in Sun City too.

I can deal with 312 days of sunshine a year :-) - now, if only the humidity would stay away

  3. That's a great idea, and I hope you will feature lots more places! I personally couldn't live in a place that is that hot all year round, and I am not thrilled by the idea of living around only "old people" either. I may change my mind as I get older, though!
